Climate change yields multiple challenges ranging from food and water shortage and increased risks of natural disasters to challenges for human and state security. Addressing these challenges at local, national, and international scales is the key to deep decarbonization and improved resilience. As an EU candidate country Ukraine also has to comply with the corresponding EU acquis.
